nopCommerce is even faster after an update to .NET 7.
Microsoft released .NET 7 on November 8, 2022, therefore all .NET developers should put that date in their calendars. This STS version offers more sophisticated integration than the 6th edition for creating desktop and mobile applications as well as web, cloud, gaming, IoT, and AI solutions. It is one of the advancements that .NET 7 offers.
In our blog post, we explained another most important update, which is improved performance. Additionally, we have added some thoughts from experienced .NET developers about the update.
Finally, a performance evaluation of nopCommerce following an upgrade to .NET 7 is explained and displayed. In a nutshell, it is now almost 15% faster than it was in the nopCommerce 4.50!
