search by GTIN

Hi friends,

I can see that i can search a product by his

1) SKU
2) Manufacturer part number

BUT I can't find the product in search tha has a number GTIN (global trade item number)

I know hot to make GTIN visible to my product page the GTIN from admin-->configuration-->settings-->catalog settings and enable the Show GTIN.

But i want to be able to search my product by GTIN not just appear it as i can for SKU and Manufacturer part number.

Is something that i can do from the admin configurations or it needs custom work?

There is no settings to search a product by GTIN
But you can customize if you want
