Unable to update icon file

I am unable to update the favicon.ico in my store (nopcommerce v4.3, theme pavilion). Please guide me where to place this file. I have place the file under following directories but unable to find the reflection yet (store is my default folder for nopcommerce project);

/httpdocs/store
/httpdocs/store/wwwroot
/httpdocs/store/wwwroot/icons/icon_0
/httpdocs/store/theme/Pavilion/Content/img

I have also uploaded ico file using Admin panel -> Configuration -> Settings -> General Settings under tab "Favicon and app icons", but no success.


Please guide.

Put the favicon.ico file in the wwwroot folder.
In the browser,  press CTRL - F5 to force an update (disregarding any cache).

Already mentioned that i put the file on wwwroot...

also clear cache (website and browser both), restart application ... but no success
