Fome Page Redesign and Category page layout change

Hi there
Im using version 4.2 default theme.
I want 2 main parts of the website changed,

Im looking to hire a developer to improve the look of my home page to make it look more appealing

like this:

(i already have the drop down product widget on my site)

Also the main category page i would like it display the sub categories as per this page

https://www.999inks.co.uk/inkjet-and-toner-cartridges/brother/1/3p-n-011/

i would also like to include the home page drop down widget on the category page if possible.
