'Internal' Products SKU companion

Add an optional 'internal' SKU field to print net to the manufacturer SKU. The text header should be user defined.

There are already fields for
SKU  
GTIN (global trade item number)  
Manufacturer part number

Are you asking for another field?  For just the admin to see, or for the customer to see (on the product page)?

All field labels can already be customized using language string resources.

Customers search by manufactures SKU. We assign an internally SKU number to variant products  andsimilar products. We can ask the customer for the internal number to find all related products.
The internal SKU should render after the manufacture SKU.

Have you set setting catalogsettings.showmanufacturerpartnumber to True?
