Issues with Azure Front Door

We host our NopCommerce solution as an Azure web app.  We have four domains using multistore and for the most part everything works great. However, we are seeing an increase of various attacks to our sites and would therefore like to enable Azure's Web Application Firewall.

To enable WAF the easiest approach seems to be putting the application behind Azure Front Door and then enabling WAF.

When we set up Front Door,  several guest accounts are created in NopCommerce every second, quickly grinding the application to a halt.

Does anyone use Azure Front Door? Any suggestions on why it is creating all the guest accounts and how to successfully set Front Door up?

Thanks!
Shawn

I think a better alternative would be to use CloudFlare. They also offer a WAF and they stop the traffic before it even hits your environment saving you resources too. You can also block bad bots

You can also block by country ]using their free plan.
