Açıklama

Increase the effectiveness of nopCommerce search by using Apache Lucene.NET full-text search engine. This plugin allows you override the default search and autocomplete functionality. The plugin also allows for fuzzy searches which allows users to find products they are looking for even if search terms are not spelled correctly.

You can read more about Lucene.NET here: https://lucenenet.apache.org/

Download the Lucene.NET Plugin for your chosen nopCommerce version.
Navigate to Configuration > Local plugins > Upload plugin.
Choose the downloaded archive and press the Upload plugin button.
Once uploaded the plugin will appear in the list of plugins, press the Install button to install the Lucene.NET plugin on your nopCommerce store.
Press the Restart application to apply changes.
Navigate to the configure page of the plugin
Click Rebuild Index to add your products to the Lucene index

It searchs for product tags (powerfull), also it shows brand, category or tag in the autocomplete. Its very nice. Fell free to contact me if you need some help also

Make Source code available

Hi, I need this plugin for nopCommerce 4.4, if i can get acces to source I could update it and make it available to tej Community for free. Regards and good work!

Hi, it’s already been updated to 4.40. You can find the code here https://github.com/nixtus/lucene.net-plugin-for-nopcommerce

I am planning on making an actual release on that repo shortly

Crash on rebuilding index

Title says it all. Crashes when rebuilding the index. Don't waste your time with this one. Guess I got what I paid for.

Tried for Nop 4.2 but with errors

FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'Lucene.Net, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=85089178b9ac3181'. A strongly-named assembly is required. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131044)

Excellent concept!

Very basic, but it works, and represents a elegant and powerful search solution for NOP. However the Advanced Search features are ignored as another reviewer mentioned. How about implementing a true faceted search based on Lucene.NET.Facet ? Perhaps I can help fund the effort?

There currently isn't but if you need it for that version I can easily backport it. Just let me know
