Virtual Directory

I added a virtual directory in order to install nopcommerce. I uploaded the unzipped files to the new domain name. Now I get this error.
"It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS."
I hope you can help me with this error.

make sure that you are upload the NopCommerceWeb directory. try this link http://forums.asp.net/t/769696.aspx
