nopCommerce displays arabic as ???

Hi guys ,

i installed nopCommerce on Ubuntu and it is really great. when I try to add arabic translation and I import the xml file,  the strings will be stored as ???? in the database and displayed also as ???? in nopCommerce.
I accessed my Database with phpmyadmin and changed the values for the arabic translation by hand . the database stores arabic correctly and nopCommerce shows correctly . but when I change the strings through the platform (nopCommerce) it stores the values as ??? and display it as ????.
by the way I am using utf8
Any idea?
