Purpose of MinStockQuantity

Hi,

What is the function of the MinStockQuantity field of the Product object?
Does it store the sum of each warehouse quantities of a product?

Asking cause I am integrating with Navision so want to know the correct way of inserting data into nopcommerce 4.3
