Is there a way to access the mobile version of an NC 2.4 install without a mobile phone? Or a way to link to a mobile directory for the site? I am needing to create a mobile sitemap and am not finding an easy to accomplish it.

How about this one?

Andrei, that's great to view with the browser. I will try it out.

What about being able to create a mobile sitemap file though? Any ideas?

What I am referring to is a mobile sitemap that can be submitted to Google or Bing. Here is more information about what is needed to submit a mobile sitemap: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=34648.

would it be possible to add a standard sitemap generator to the work item as well?

The html sitemap included in NC is not Google/search engine compatible.

I am using a free third party tool at http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/. There is a mobile sitemap generator but this is a paid option sadly.

One thing that I've seen before is a sitemap.asmx page that can be accessed. When the file is hit, it dynamically creates an XML sitemap that is compliant (http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.html). You can then point Google and Bing to that page and when they go to crawl the sitemap file, it will always be up to date.

It would be great to have this for an HTML, mobile, images, and news sitemaps in nopCommerce.

Many thanks. I didn't know that was there and feel quiet foolish now after the overhead of manually generating a file every time I change my store for the last 18 months:-)

Is it a relatively new feature? I was only aware of the /sitemap page and not the  sitemapseo.aspx file.
