How to create a web deployment package

Hi, I made some changes to the source code and I would like to deploy it to a hosting server.

I used the option learnt from MSDN, I go to Visual Studio -> Build -> Publish Website option

When I copied the precompile package to my hosting server, it does not work.

What option should I use in order to create a web deployment package like nopcommernce provided?

did you try to run your website using IIS in your local machine or using Visual Studio?

maybe your hosting server docent meat the site requirement.

A) Always, always state the version you are using when posting here.

B) "Does not work" tells us nothing. Provide details of any message(s) you receive.

C) Did you create the database?

D) Did you enter and or edit the correct connection string?
