No SSL redirect for 1.4?

Just upgraded to 1.4 from 1.3 and the SSL redirection that happened @ Login.aspx and during checkout no longer happens.  I checked my Common.UseSSL setting has a value of True.

Is this a known issue or have I misconfigured something during the upgrade?

Ahhh... the setting has moved to the web.config file
