How can we set up donations on our site? Is there someplace to set up customer added donations or prices?

Why not add a category call donations and set up a few products with different prices?

We looked at that for the different products. We didn't know if there was a way for users to enter any given amount other our set amounts. Wasn't sure if Nop could do that or not.
