Add / Remove or Modify the link buttons on the Admin Menu

I've been looking for a place where I can edit the Admin Menu. Is there a file or files that I can either add/remove or modify a link button? I'm creating a cfm help file for my client, so this would be a great help. Thanks.

modify "Admin.sitemap" in the administration folder

I don't see anything in my Administration directory that says "Site Map." I'm using version 1.4. Exactly what is the file name and extension? Thanks.

open the administration folder. Alphabetically,   Admin.sitemap  (thats the filename)   is the third file down.

I've looked and I don't have a "Admin.Sitemap.aspx" file. I'm using the newest version.
