Problem loading general / misc settings

Hello all!

I'm currently using nop 3.40

In the past it has all worked fine. I can access all settings menus aside from the following:
When I click Configuration > Settings > General and Miscellaneous settings I get the error

"We're sorry internal error occured".

In checking the log in the dashboard I see no issues and am stumped as to where to even begin looking for a solution. Is this a common problem? Does anyone has any advice or solutions?

You can try to turn off custom error in Web.Config to see what's the error.

Open your web.config, and look for: <customErrors defaultRedirect="errorpage.htm" mode="RemoteOnly">

And change it to <customErrors defaultRedirect="errorpage.htm" mode="Off">

Then try again, see if that generates any error. :)

Ah yes. This I suppose is much more helpful.

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

It seems like you are missing some DB Stored Procedure. Not sure why it's suddenly disappearing.

Run this on your SQL Server:
