Hello I am looking to retire products in my catalog. Should i just unpublish them? Will that cause any issues for customers currently with those products in their order?
If unpublished (even "deleted") products are on Orders, then no, there is no problem. If unpublished products are in the cart (or on wishlists), then the customer will get a warning message when trying to check out.
