How To Desing Custom Home Page

Hello All,

i am new to nopcommerce.

I check that many people change home screen and many css. i dont have exact idea how to do this.

I check https://www.nopcommerce.com/showcaseliveshops.aspx and find some good design over there..

Please give me idea how i can make my own design. Is there any special designer required to do this.. or i can make it by my self.

I know css editing and html also i have good command in asp.net.

Please help me..

Talking about re-designing the nopCommerce homepage or layout. Well, it totally depends on your requirements, how you want your homepage.

You can start your work from nopCommerceStore folder > App_Theme > Choose Your theme that you want to edit

Maximum amount of work is based on your css style sheet. You can make changes in css style sheet and name that theme folder as your name.

If you have a good knowledge of Jquery or java, you can use jquery or java navigation menu instead of basic navigation menu that is provided by nopCommerce.

You can add flash on your homepage because use of graphics like colorful images and flash beautifies the page layout.
