Order maximum amount

I have a scenario where I want to have a maximum order amount and also configure specific fees for orders above this amount? Any suggestions? Does the system provide this or should it be added to the new features requests?

It would require customization, or Payment Director can do it. Here's an example

In your case, the expression can use OrderTotalWithoutPaymentFee

Thanks a lot for your reply. How the payment director will help? I want to restrict on the "Add to cart" level. Similar to what happens with maximum/minimum product quantity.

No Payment Director can't "restrict on the "Add to cart" level".    It can "configure specific fees for orders above this amount".
