Changing the Theme of the site

Hi,

I have downloaded the nopCommerce code and I was amazed seeing it. With all this Features it is “Open Source” then that is fantastic.

Coming to my question, I want to change the theme of the site. Is there any way to do this? Do we have any predefined themes which can be downloaded and apply? If so how to do this? Please guide me on this regard. Thanks.

there are two predefined themes that come with nopcommerce

DarkOrange
NopClassic

you can select them by going to admin    configuration --> global settings    click  'SEO/Display'  tab

see the drop down list next to the words   store theme

select and save

For version 2.30 this has changed. The new procedure is:

1) Go to the admin area (or sign in as an admin)
2) Go to the menu Configuration -> Settings -> General and miscellaneous settings
3) Under the "Store information" tab there is a dropdown field named "Store theme". Select your installed theme.

I am not sure if there are more than one way to install a Theme in v2.30. The way I did it is I downloaded a theme created by someone else, a theme compatible with v2.x. Then put their "theme folder" to "{nopcommerce installation folder}\Presentation\Nop.Web\Themes
