Categories - Number of distinct products

Hi,

we are using feature "Show the number of distinct products besides each category". When we have one category, one subcategory and 7 distinct products (each product only one variant) mapped to category and subcategory, final number of distinct products in upper category is 14 and in subcategory 7.

Why are products counted twice in upper category? Is this bug or property :-) (bug for us)

It's by design. If you want to change this behavior, just set 'Display.Products.ShowCategoryProductNumber.IncludeSubCategories' setting to 'false'
