About plugin installation

I downloaded no source nopcommerce for linux. And I need to new payment method on site. When I start installation from local plugins then plugin didnt install. Any solution do you have?

Is the plugin version the same as the website ?
Check in the plugin.json file for the plugin you are trying to install

Could you successfully install nopCommerce?
If yes, then from admin side go to Configuration->Local plugins
Try to find out your desire payment plugin in the list, then try to install it again.
If you don't find it in the list check your plugin version from plugin.json, it should match with your nopCommerce version.

I have also downloaded  the Had spent amount plugin and copied the plugin file in the plugins folder but am unable to see the plugin in my list of local plugins when I restart the application. I see the folder in my ftp when going to my website but nothing in nopCommerce. I am using 4.20. I have tried to reinstall again. No luck.

Can anyone assist?

Assuming you have checked the version is compatible as above
Just to confirm
The installed pluign directory should be called "DiscountRules.HadSpentAmount"
It should be installed it in Nop.Web\Plugins\

If this is correct try to restart the webserver to see if it loads

Thank you Yidna. Yes I have the right plugin directory. I have restarted the app, checked the web server, cleared the cache files and am having the same result. Don't know why.

I figured out the issue... the hosting provided had created a different link to my website where I should be moving all my data. Got it now. Thanks for your quick feedback. Much appreciated! Manon :)
