Product Import

I'm using the "Import From Excel" option to import my products. I keep getting the following error:

'Products$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

I've tried renaming the file and editing the file to make sure that there's nothing that would trigger the error. The problem is probably something really simple, but I haven't been able to find it. Any suggestions?

The worksheet in the excel file needs to be named Products.

I changed the name of the file and it still won't work.

Correction: let me clarify, I have tried both Products and Products$ as the name of the file and neither worked.

I have also noticed that when i try to upload, a window usually appears for a few seconds saying that MS Excel has stopped working. (Despite the fact that I didn't even have it running.) After that the error appears. Could the happening be related

Ah, yes! It helps to read correctly doesn't it. For some reason I read file name rather than worksheet. That does make a difference.
