I'm still running a late 2008 2 x3.2 Quad-Core Mac Pro 3,1, bought in 2008 and so ready for a new Mac. Very nearly pulled the trigger on a 16" M1 Max Macbook Pro a couple of weeks ago, until I did a little digging!! Really don't want to dump £8k into an Intel Mac Pro....

By the way, there are reports of people using the insider preview of both windows 10 (arm) and windows 11 arm, and using VS2019 / 2022 / MS SQL via Parallels, but I'm not willing to invest £4k to find out if they can.
