What Happened to the Startup.cs Class

For some custom alterations to nopCommerce 4.3 and 4.4 I had used the Startup class to access a couple of properties I created in the NopConfig class.  In 4.5 the Startup class is gone.  Anyone have any suggestions on a replacement?
