I usually face this very common issue because I see it as an issue but in other cases, this might sound like a feature.
Every time I create a new grouped product using the Copy product button, it also creates child products with the same name (Appending - copy in the end) as the original grouped product. This results in new URL records for those child products which I had to change. The problem it raises is having URL records which are not of any use in the system.
Can we please provide a checkbox in the Copy product model pop-up to ask if we want to copy child products in case of grouped product or not? Else, maybe you can ask how many child products and their names as well.
Please let me know if you need a clearer example to understand this.
