Installation seems wrong

Hi installation on my computer seems wrong. Then what can i do to make it correct. Is it fresh copy download again or can it be possible to set first page of setting which comes only once (that contains asking of dummy database create (check box) and other questions)

And plz tell that is it possible to install this website other than c drive which be the default drive and can it be possible to cut and paste inetpub folder from c: drive to e: drive and use it there

Yes I got the first paragraph answer and i.e remove lines from settings.txt file and remove db can make able to go that page.

But plz tell me the answer of 2nd paragraph

I can't even install, stuck at unable to connect to MySQL at all.
I wonder if it is because my hosting plan is Linux?

I was drawn to nopcommerce because my new employer find it expensive to maintain an external web developer to update contents, shopping cart to many who wish to sell online never generate enough sales to cover the expenses, this scenario devalued web presence and the reason why so many websites are dormant.

Why is it so difficult to install and deploy?
After several days of frustration, I realized that it is a program to protect the web developer rather than designer who are accustomed to "what you see is what you get" no particular software dependent method. The emergence of ready to use web hosting plans forces web developers and designers to adopt the facilities provided in the hope to retain their customers making it near impossible to migrate.

Unless nopcommerce's functionalities is forever the best and most sought after, it will become a niche for the existing user. Younger generation will go for the ease of use and popular that deliver its purpose at little effort.

Until you make nopcommerce easy to use, I am extracting the web contents into an ordinary html framework and replace the shopping cart with external service or web form.
