Export products with excel 3.8 version

Hi to everybody. I'm testing the 3.8 version and it is super. The only thing that I cannot understand how it is working the export / import products with excel.

With the last versions the product's excel file was more "complicated" with a lot of columns like published, product cost and so on... now, with the 3.8 version, there are few columns , but I have tried to import 100 new products and all of them are unpublished.... Do I have to publish all 100 products one by one? I find quite strange this new feature

I can verify that this is an error in export/import behaviour of 3.8 version.
All enumerated fields are missing e.g. instead of CategoryIds we now have Categories
which is completely useless since no mapping can be done.
Please nopCommerce team verify that and fixit ASAP.

It's now tied to whether you are in Basic or Advanced mode regarding product fields shown during product edit.  Edit any product, and select Advanced (slider).  Then go back to the product list and do Export.

i have tried it in with products in advanced mode before posting.
The excel file is wrong, when I say mapping I mean that I have another system as a backend linked with nopCommece as front end and all information are linked e.g. categories via their id.

Version 3.7 of Excel file was working fine, what is the reason to change this behaviour?

I was thinking that was something like this. But All my products are now showed in a ''BASIC'' form by default.... Do you know if exist a way to set them in The advanced form by default? I think it will be to set a resource but i cannot figure out which One is.

Products export and import have been significantly reworked in version 3.80 in order to provide simplicity and flexibility to dealing with the files (for example, now you can import and export needed part of the data, there is no need to use handbooks for searching category's ID). But, unfortunately, it means the lack of backward compatibility.

Hello, the current structure of excel cannot be used at all (especially without using Ids and instead using names e.g. for categories), please at least give us an option to use previous version of template, otherwise we will be forced to return to version 3.7

I'm sorry, but the files import from 3.70 in to 3.80 is not possible, as well as adding the switching import/export behavior in 3.80. Please describe your problem in details, why do you need to import the previous version files? When upgrading from 3.70 to 3.80 all  necessary changes  in the database are made automatically, without affecting the data stored, and there is no need to move products by import/export.

I don't need to import previous version products or categories or anything in general but I want to keep nopCommerce system synchronized with another backend system (ERP). In this case I will need to import/update products in a time schedule basis and since mapping is now impossible this functionality cannot be achieved.
Is it clear now?
