Hello, I am looking for a new hosting provider for a NopCommerce installation. I have been using Applied Innovations, but starting to think the $30 per month is a little much. I was thinking Godaddy, but I know that Godaddy has rumors of being hard to work with and configure properly. I was also looking at Arvixe, but have never used them and wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Any other hosts you can recommend as well is mos appreciated!

Thanks

I dont know if you can use this site, but they have fair price, and no down time

After i switch to them a year ago, my site has been up and running with no problems. ;-)

Thanks, but I was looking more for hosts in the US or in the English language. Thanks for the reply...

Pdesignz,

We are currently using, arvixe.net. They are pretty decent. We host our main site (icc.com) as well as a backup site for our other business.

Might also investigate http://www.appliedi.net/
I host my own site there along with most clients. Always great support.

Thanks, I am currently hosting with Applied Innovations and are pretty great, but client am working with can't afford the $30.00 per month hosting and wanted to see if there was some good hosting and cheaper and what experiences people had with them. I was not sure if GoDaddy is good to use with NopCommerce as I always hear about issues with Godaddy and their hosting. I was also looking at Arvixe, Winhost and DicountAsp.Net as these were recommended by NopCommerce.

Thanks

I use Softsys Hosting.

I think that they are based out of India but they know the English language, have good prices, and amazing technical support.

Many times they answer my questions in 11-30 minutes.  I don't know if a fast response is the norm, this is the first hosting company I have tried, but I am constantly shocked at how fast and helpful they are.

When I signed up, I got 1 year of hosting with support for $70.  Now it looks like you can get a similar plan for $8.49/m. with an Annual Cycle plan.

I live in the United States and at first looked into going with a US based company.  I was afraid to start with Arvixe because of some of the reviews I had read.  When I looked into another company they wanted to sell me an expensive three year plan which was too big of a commitment for me.

If your business is big and you have lots of web traffic you will probably have to buy a larger plan or a VPS.  For me, I was starting out on an entrepreneurial idea and did not want to have a large startup cost.  Softsys hosting provided helpful information to get me started and was always there to help.

I am glad that I went with Softsys hosting.

If you would like to check them out here is their link:

godaddy shared hosting is not an option for nopcommerce, their VPS is quite good anyway.

Thank for the replies, I have been looking at Arvixe and looks to be good. Some good reviews and some say are not so good. Has anyone used or has experience using WinHost?

Thanks

I just had to request a refund from WinHost. I'm waiting to see what they say.

I don't even understand why they support nopCommerce if there basic plan is insufficient to run it and their max plan wouldn't support any type of load at all.
