Barcode Scanner
This plugin scans the barcode by using webcam or mobile back camera of your product that you put on the site, and if the scanned barcode number is equal to the SKU number of your product, it directs the customer or user to the product link. If the user is an admin, the product editing page will be opened for him.
This plug-in widget has the ability to be placed in the menu or to make its link available to users somewhere other than the menu.
This Java code is used to scan the code: html5-qrcode
Features of this plugin:
- Using webcam or mobile back camera to scan barcode
- The ability to specify the location to display the plugin link
- Detecting the type of user, if the user is an admin, it will transfer to the product editing page
This plugin can be easily implemented in Firefox and Safari. In order for the plugin to be activated in the Edge and Chrome browsers,you must enable camera access configuration in web.config by changing some parameter :
camera() change to camera=*
or
camera 'none' to camera
This plugin is useful for users who want to get additional product information from the site faster or edit it.
