Thanks. I've updated this.

My Paypal works pretty well, but information from my website doesn't make it into Paypal. I still have to copy address information from nopcommerce to Paypal.

Also:

Once payment *has been* successfully made in Paypal the post-back shows the order as "Paid" and changes the status to "Processing". However, once I "ship" the item in Paypal it does not update to "Shipped" in the NopCommerce manager.

Advice?

I think you may be hoping for too much from your nopCommerce.

though....
i'm looking into it :)

I see...

I thought it might be a bit of a stretch depending on the Paypal API. Nevertheless, still very happy with it's performance thus far in many areas (I'm a pretty big Zen Cart implementer, and I'm doing NOP for expirence and training)

Now on to working with some of my other ideas...I wrote a post about google checkout!

So, I see people posting that their paypal is working great, like the gentleman that posted here.  Then I see people like me that get the unhandled exception and really they seem to go unanswered, or told it was / is a bug.  So what is different about the people that work and the people that don't work?  I really would like to guidance on fixing this as it's a pretty big problem.

Otherwise I've been very happy with the system, and the ease of customization.  We're doing a lot of integrating it into our backend and real world systems, but this one thing with paypal is just the most aggravating thing ever

hey doom-

I'm going to try to follow your instructions per. your other post:

1. change the bool value for google checkout in the payment providers table in your db from 0 to 1
2. in the web.config file find the google related section and enter your authorisation stuff and change "Sandbox" to "Production".

I ran into some problems updating my database in godaddy so I got delayed. Will report later.

Thanks!
