Digital Downloads - Bug - Copy Link Seems to ByPass Security

Hi,

I right clicked on the download link to "copy shortcut" and tried to access this in a new session and it worked.

Surely this means that people could share the download location with anyone they wanted to without paying for the product?

I think the download function need to check to see if the user is logged in before download is allowed.

Is this a known bug?

There is no any issue. The functionality is just disabled by default. Go to admin area > settings and set "customerSettings.DownloadableProductsValidateUser" setting value to "true"
