How to change the admin email in my website

The question is like the topic above. I have tried to use 'contact us' in my website, but it dose not work. I'm not sure whether I do something wrong or this function has not been finished yet.

Change it in Global Settings through the admin control.

I just sent a message in my website by using "contact us", but I recieve nothing in my mailbox? What's wrong?

Is it sitting in the message que under system -->message que in the control panel?  in global settings you can send a test email...does this work?

I have changed the admin-email address in global setting to my email address, and then I sent the message in website. However, I receive nothing in my mail box, does this function really work?
