Export to Excel-> data type mismatch in criteria expression

Anyone knows how to fix this error? Also anyone has a sample excel file for import? I don't know the excel sheet column structure for product import.

I am also battling to understand what the format is for importing.  I went through the code to make sure I have data for every field but the import is failing even before it is starting to read the fields -
'Products$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

Is there somewhere a sample excel file that can show users what the import file should look like?  I read through the userguide and there is no help in there either
