Hello, A site that I have been working on http://www.ceramicandcraft.com.au is working fine- but every few days the homepage loses its images (broken links for all of them) as its trying to reference localhost. However any other page in the site is fine - its only the homepage. As an example one of the image urls now is set to http://localhost/content/images/thumbs/0002024_overglaze-products_125.jpeg but only in the homepage.
Im running Nopcommerce 3.4. It has only been an issue since the upgrade. The strange thing is every time i republish the site, it fixes the broken links, but after a few days (i havent figured out the trigger)the images revert back to localhost on the home page.
Just to let you know, I may have fixed this by setting my store url to www.sitename.com instead of http://www.sitename.com but only time will tell. Possible bug? Or are we not supposed to enter http:// in the site url? Thanks! Dale
Hi guys/gals, I have a feeling that it is to do with a cross-browser cookie that we have on our dev machine, if thats at all possible. Because from memory the issue is only when viewing the live site from my dev machine. But if I remoted onto another machine, the site was displaying correctly.
If you definitely don't have any references to localhost in the database or any views. The problem with be dev dlls in one of the plugins. What you need to do is delete the plugin directly on the live server, and rebuilt a release version and copy to the live server. I've had this problem before where an old version of nop.core dll would randomly get re-instated because an old copy of it was lying in one of the plugin directories.
Our symptoms are still the same and get worse. We have to start scheduler to clear cache every 3 min. Today we recreated environment and we don't have the problem until now. However, we encounter very slow response from time to time.
Does anyone have similar problems?
Old environment: Azure website with staging New environment: Azure website without staging
It's not likely but it seems that staging caused the issue.
Thanks.
