They did a fairly decent job of hosting up until roughly mid-September when everything went to hell. Frequent unexplained outages that would last over an hour, resulting in the inability of anyone to get into my website, and even the e-mail servers were off-line.
Things really went south last month when they decided to move IP addresses around on their servers. My website was down for four days until the IP addresses managed to propogate through the system, no access to e-mail either.
And on-and-off since then, my website has been inaccessible for hours at a time, sometimes with a 404 error, sometimes with a "connection refused" error.
It is incomprehensible to me how a company that's business model revolves around hosting websites cannot do their job responsibly. Their support sucks, when I reported the outage last month, it actually took them over three weeks before they responded with a work ticket number and wanting to know if I was still having problems.
Fortunately, my annual contract with them expires next month, and you can be certain that it will not be renewed.
I **STRONGLY** recommend that nopCommerce stop giving this company free advertising as a "Recommended Hosting Company for nopCommerce".
I could've written this verbatim.
September 14, my site was down for nearly 24 hours. A week later I received an, "Are you still having issues because the site is working for us?", email from Arvixe. Seriously??? I even demanded to be informed of the root cause of the outage and was ignored.
October 15, the exact same outage with nearly the exact same outcome except that the BS email from Arvixe took two weeks to arrive.
Yesterday, November 11, my site went dark at 4 AM CST and it's even worse this time. Our mail server is offline, we can't RDP into our VPS, and our customers are seeing "ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED". Zero response from Arvixe as usual.
My website is my livelihood and Arvixe is literally costing me thousands of dollars. If the squeaky wheel gets some grease then please help get my site back online.
