Hi all, I noticed a master branch getting ready for release is now a thing.
I was wondering if it is stable enough to run this version in production? A couple of plugin developers are releasing 3.8 versions of their plugins and rather than pay for the 3.7 version and upgrade in July-ish would it be ok to run 3.8 for now?
Thanks, Tom
Hi Tom,
We added "develop" branch just one month ago. Previously there was only one branch ("master") till January 2016. It's not stable right now because we added "develop" branch in one month after release of 3.80. So "master" already had a lot of commits. Please find more info here. We'll make the "master" branch stable after release of 3.80. Right now the latest stable version is 3.70 (find it by tag) or download here
Thanks Andrei sorry the plugin developer told me to buy v3.8 of the plugin.. So I guess now I'll wait.. Until 3.8 comes out before installing Thanks for letting me know
This implementation allows store owners to add Description to checkout/product/specification attribute values. For example this would allow you to show blue info marker icons that could show more info to customer about the attribute value option. (for example why customer should choose this option and pay more ;-)

nopCommerce mentioned that probably nopCommerce 4.0 will support Asp.net Core 1.0. Is there a rough date when 4.0 will be release? As Asp.net core now can be hosted in Linux, i believe many developers will want to build new projects especially with eCommerce capability on it.
