PayPal Express by Nopcommerce Plugin ERROR

We have been struggling throughout the past 2 days on this issue. Does anybody have a thought on how to correct an issue that appears to be related to PayPal Express Plugin (nopcommerce) Version 4.0 where
     "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: value"
This issue has caused our customers to not be able to register without experiencing an error and when using IE, they get a blank white page.

Full Error in Admin Log:

Log level: Warning
Short message:  Value cannot be null. Parameter name: value
Full message:  System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
        Parameter name: value
          at Microsoft.AspNetCore.Session.DistributedSession.Set(String key, Byte[] value)at Nop.Plugin.Payments.PayPalExpressCheckout.Services.PayPalExpressCheckoutPlaceOrderService.PlaceOrder()

This issue did not occur with previous versions, Nop 3.9 and older version had no issue. The new version 4.0 has bugs. We have removed the plugins associated to this issue. Tested other payment plugins and have found only the PayPal Express plugin for Nop version 4.0 to have this issue. Cannot proceed...

Any help on how to proceed is appreciated.
