Version in Plugin json files

Just starting to look at nopCommerce - I installed 4.20 with the included plugins. I noticed that the json files show SupportedVersions 4.30 instead of 4.20. Does that mean that 4.30 plugins will continue to work in 4.20? Thanks.

Did you clone or downloaded the NopCommerce source code directly from the GitHub https://github.com/nopSolutions/nopCommerce ?
The 4.3 version is not released yet and the 4.2 must be included on plugins.json file for the plugin to function on NopCommerce 4.2's version.
Go through this page https://www.nopcommerce.com/download-nopcommerce to download the stable 4.2 version.

Thank you for the quick reply. The nopCommerce was 4.20 downloaded from GitHub. After posting I discovered that the problem was that we had downloaded 4.30 to see some of the new features and had edited a plugin.json file from 4.20 to 4.30 to try it out with the unreleased 4.30 - so the apparent mismatch was our fault. Thanks again.
