PayPalStandard Subscription

I'm using the PayPal Payments plugin that came with vs 4.1, Payments.PayPalStandard.  Can this plugin be used to accept subscription payments (recurring payments) through PayPal? I've been working with support from PayPal on this and the rep I'm working with is not too familiar with the plugin but say that in general if the plug in supports configuration for subscriptions it should work.
Is there another PlugIn that I need to use? I don't see anything regarding subscriptions in the configuration for the PayPalStandard plugin. Just the PDT identity token, biz email, sandbox option, order totals and product names and additional fee settings.

I got another plugin that should work with recurring payments. My new question is, I now have 2 active payment methods. How/where do I set which one to use?
Sorry. I see that during checkout the user can choose which one. :)
