Product attributes problem. Please help.

I created few attributes in the Product attributes such as author, title, pages etc.

But when I add any new product I am not able to see any of my attributes which I added in product attributes. I can only see Specification attributes, where are my Product attributes ??

Now I got to know from where we have to add our product attributes for any product.

But how to set the values of my product attributes ?

For a more flexible option wher you do not have to predefine values you can use  the Product Specification Value Mod extension. For that  check
