Auction (roadmap update)

Searched the forums and codeplex but doesn't seem to be any recent information about Auctions in NOPCommerce.

Could anyone provide some up to date and accurate information regarding auctions.

We were thinking of extending the customer entered price feature, any ideas or work been done already by others?

Is there a recommended auction software to integrate with NOP 1.90, rather than coding it ourserlves from scratch?

Can't recommend something becuse I'm familiar with any third-party auction software

I've been thinking of developing a plug-in Auction Module for version 1.90 the question is does one write it now or wait till version 2.0?

We are looking at building auction module for 2.0 and mvc, lucky we have a couple of months for this project.

Is there community interest in a commercial auction add-on for NOP 2.0?

please implement auction module inside the nopcommerence as soon as possible,because i need urgently.

We're in the middle of developing a commercial extension to the 'customer enters price' product variant feature combined with some Multi-Vendor/Store customisation from another NOPCommerce forum post/user.

Basically adding a bidding table in that process, custom category and product templates then feeding the whole thing back into the cart and checkout system as usual.

I'd estimate we're somewhere between min. 1 month to max. 3 months from completion.

I'll keep this thread up to date about once every fortnight.
