SEO/Display in Global Settings - How to make use of it?

hi all,

I am new to NopCommerce, can anyone please explain me how to use the SEO/Display in global settings? i have given all possible keywords and descriptions in the meta keyword and meta descriptions columns, but, i cant find whether it is working or not? I wish to see it in my keywords in page source, but, it is not coming there. so, what i have to do to make sure that the SEO is working in my web application and provide me some tips and tricks to work in NopCommerce.

What is the use of the "Include in Sitemap" in Content Management -> Topics ??? what it will do if i enable this in my nopcommerce store? The SEO is available separately for all the individual Topics, is that can be used only for that particular Topic??
