Extra Inserts In Category Template Table When Updating a category?

Hi guys am running nop 2.2
when editing a category and then hitting save I'm finding that a new record is being inserted into the CategoryTemplate table.. just wondering if this was a known bug or where in the solution I could check for the insertion as it just looks like simpler automapper from a categorymodel to a category so why the new template is getting inserted seems quite strange..

I presume that you did some customization which broke the default behavior. Everything works fine out of the box. Try it here
