Where does the money from a purchase go? Paypal?

Hello,

I needed to know what happens when the customer decides to purchase something on my website.  The money that he/she gives me from their credit card of paypal, where does it go?  I have set up the Paypal standard, but will the money from a customer order go directly to there or somewhere else.
If it doesnt go to my paypal account can someone tell me how to set it up to my paypal account to receive money or a different account.

If you set up PayPal standard correctly, the money from an order will go to your PayPal account.  Make sure to test it before going live.

Also, if you are using drop shipping, you can apply for a PayPal debit card that will link to your PayPal account.  This way you can have your supplier bill you by using your PayPal debit card.  Then, the money from your customer will always be in the same account that you are billed from, your PayPal account.  If you do this, you will not have to worry about getting an overdraft when waiting for your money to be transferred to your main bank.

Yes I have setup the Paypal Standard correctly but for some reason when I purchase a product using a credit card no money gets transferred to my Paypal account and there is no record of me paying for anything when I check the purchases I have made on my credit card

I dont know why this is happening
