Configurin Shipping Charges

Hello,

I'm having problems with the shipping charges.

However, every time I check out, I see

By Air ($1.00 (USD))
The one day air shipping


Anyone have any ideas?

have you set up all your own desired shipping methods in

configuration -->shipping-->shippping methods

then selected your desired shipping method in 'shipping by order weight' ?

ok,
first you have to go to

configuration -->shipping-->shipping methods

click edit and change the name  of 'by ground' to something that suits you best - i use our national postal service so i've called it 'Royal Mail'.  In the box underneath, put a description you want your customers to read - i put 'Orders to UK addresses will be sent Royal Mail 1st class on orders up to ...............'

then save it and go to

configuration -->shipping-->Shipping Rate Computation Methods     and click 'edit'    Shipping By Order Weight

at the lower part of the page, you will see

Adding new values:  
Select shipping method:                     a dropDownList  containing all of the shipping methods you have created - select the one you want to use and input the relevant information (its self explanitory)

and click 'add new'

you can add as many as you need
