A "Please Select" attribute that you can not add to cart

Hi there,

Developing a website with NopCommerce and enjoying the experience so far. However, I am looking to do something that is probably quite simple but I am finding tricky to figure out. If I have a product, say, a Shirt and I have a "Size" attribute/variant of "Small, Medium, Large" how to do create a "Please Select Size" as the pre-selected atttribute that is not "add-able" to the cart?

i don't think you can out of the box  - i think i tried this before - it adds the item attribute 'please select ..'  to the cart -

not quite a bug but it could do to be looked into in more detail
