I have been using the IPN (Instant Payment Notification) from Paypal without a hitch since like v1.90.

I have Paypal Standard and Paypal direct running.

This week the most curious thing has happened.

I get an email confirmation of sale from NOP system. After a while I get the notification from Paypal (could be hours).

In the NOP control panel the "order" says payment is "pending".

However, in Paypal the funds are now received (after the receipt of the payment notification).

I then process the payment and must manually set the "order" in NOP Admin (which is showing pending) to paid.


I have then received several times from Paypal the following email:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

http://www.myrealmobile.com/Plugins/PaymentPayPalDirect/IPNHandler

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

.... the IPNs are not failing, just delayed.

The URL is correct.

I contacted our ISP and there are no issues on their side.

I contacted Paypal and they don't know what to make of it.

Has anyone come across this issue?
