errors of nop-templates in nopCommerce 3.8

Hi everyone,

I have installed the nop-template plugins, I have add one custom category template for some categories, when one category used this template, it'working correctly, but the parent category(not using the custom category template) of this category which used the custom template, it occurred the error,it's so strange,could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

You have modified the signatures of the nopCommerce controllers and since our plugins, which inherits from those controllers, are built to work with the default controller signatures they cannot work correctly anymore.

The simple solution to this is to use property injection, instead of constructor injection. In this way, you are not changing the constructor signature of the controller and everything will work just fine:

private IMyService _myService;

public IMyService MyService
{
    get
    {
        if (_myService == null)
        {
            _myService = EngineContext.Current.Resolve<IMyService>();
        }

        return _myService;
    }
}
