Search function

I'd like to ask where I can modify the search function. The reason I'm asking is this:

The product name is this: "Acme Super-Duper Ultra Cleaner AXBXCX-1"
If I do the search for: "Acme Ultra", no hits, "Acme Cleaner", no hits. Technically, they should show up.

Anyway, I'd appreciate a point in the right direction/location for the change.

Following this thread as my query is along the same lines.

Is there somewhere where keywords and mis-spelled search words can be added to a product profile so that the search bar picks them up but aren't displayed in any other way?
